A Princess Dream Ch.2 ShinHika

Shinji had led Dawn outside. It was midnight and she was a bit shifted. Dawn sat down next to a little koi pond whose waters shimmered brightly in the full mooned knighted. Shinji was standing looked up at the stars then looked down at the koi fish swimming in the pond. “Dawn…” Shinji started “I suppose you would like to know the name of the princess I want to marry.” Dawn nodded although she could care less she was heart broken.

Shinji touch the inside of a little pouch he had on his waist to make sure it was still there. He touched a small box inside the pouch. A ring box. He sighed slightly and sat down next to Dawn.

She was looking at the pond when she felt a gentle hand turn her head. It was Shinji’s hand. She was surprised Shinji smiled and softly brushed his lips against hers. He smiled stood up and kneeled. “Princess would you marry me?” Dawn’s eyes where wide open she nearly burst into tears. “Ahhh!!!! Yes!!!” she yelled and threw herself into his arms knocking the prince onto his back she held onto his neck while he did the same at her waist with the box still in his hands.

He sat up Dawn sat at his lap while he took the ring out of the box. The jewel that was placed at the head of the small ring was a large amethyst or the birth stone for February. The color of the large jewel match the color of his hair. She giggled at this as Shinji gave her a slight look of a confused smile. He took her hand and placed the ring upon it. She blushed a light pink and smiled. She hugged the prince once again and he hugged back. “Now you are forever mine.” He paused for a moment “Dawn.” She gasped quietly this was the first time he had called her by her name! She smiled she was happy again. And the most beautiful and rare sight occurred in front of the a black koi with a white spot on his head united with a white koi with a black spot on her head the swam in circles as Dawn and Shinji watched. “I knew we had those koi fish for some reason.” Dawn said playfully. They both laughed and sat there watching the koi fish swim around for awhile.

Then soon walked back inside. Their arms locked. They walked up to Ayako and Dawn told her what had happened. Ayako got as giddy as a little girl on Christmas eve. She hugged Shinji and Dawn smiling and announced their marriage. Everyone clapped she also saw May and Misty. May was bouncing like a little girl while Drew was laughing at how silly she looked (if you guessed Drew for May’s prince you get a cookie) Misty was clapping and Ash clapped looked over to May and started laughing as well. Dawn giggled and Shinji smiled and shook his head.

At the end of the ball the only people left where Dawn ,Shinji ,May ,Drew ,Misty and Ash. Ash, Drew and Paul got reacquainted. May and Misty asked Dawn what had happened. Dawn Gladly retold the story. ‘And that’s what happened.” Dawn concluded finishing her story. “Omg that’s so romantic.” Misty said in wonder. May nodded. “Hey Dawn.” May started. “You do know that we can see each other whenever we want cause our husbands are best friends right? So don’t worry bout not seeing us k?” “Really?” Dawn asked. Misty and May nodded their heads. “Oh I didn’t know that. Thanks for telling me otherwise I would have been kind of worried.” Dawn said smiling.

It was well pasted midnight and everyone was all together. Dawn yawned and rubbed her eyes. Shinji chuckled slightly “Looks like somebody’s tired.” Shinji said smiling lazily a bit tired himself. May had already fallen asleep on Drew’s shoulder and Drew was half asleep himself. Ash had fallen asleep too. Misty giggled and shook her head sleepily. “looks like you’re all tired.” Ayako said coming into the room. “Why don’t you all head to your rooms for the night. “Ok” Dawn said yawning. Shinji stood up and help the sleepy Dawn get up and made their way to the room. Drew picked up the sleeping may bridle style and carried her to their room. And Misty….Well she just sort of dragged Ash to their room.

Shinji helped dawn into the room and waited outside so she could change. When she was done Shinji came in. She laid down in the bed and immediately fell asleep. Shinji smirked and walked over to the side of the bed where dawn was. He bent over and lightly kissed her on the forehead. “Goodnight..” He paused and smiled slightly. “My Princess of Sinnoh.” he turned took off his cape and sat on the chair next to the bed looking outside at the moon. He smirked. “Heh it’s a shame that Reggie couldn’t make it. I’m sure He would have loved to meet Dawn. Oh well I’m sure even though hes not in the castle any more he should be happy. With his own princess.” Shinji yawned and fell asleep with his hand holding up his head. “Heh Reggie.”
